first meeting should last about one hour. The main purpose of
the meeting is to get to know students in your group.

Introductions
Each student should introduce himself/herself.
The introduction can include your academic goals, school
schedule, interests, hobbies, work, family, background, programming
experience.

Volunteer
Someone
needs to volunteer. The volunteer should
take
notes in the meeting
try
to keep the meeting focused on the topics
send
the meeting report to the instructor
The volunteer is not the group
lead. The group lead will be determined in the
second group meeting.
Project
Ideas Discussion
What
kind of project would you like?
Suggestion:
keep the original idea small. It will be much
easier to add to the project after you get something simple running.
If it is too complicated, it may never get off the ground.
