CIS29 Project Group Meeting #4 Suggested Agenda

Must be completed by March 4th

By this time of the meeting the group should have accomplished most of the following:

Most of the code should be written
Code integration should be mostly complete
The game should be somewhat playable
Testing of the game should be started
"Back doors" should be in place for testing and demonstration
You should be able to make a list of what still needs to be completed and who still has tasks remaining

Discussion topics

What still needs to be done? Who is doing it? When will it be complete?
What integration doesn't work yet?
Who is testing?
Are there back doors?
What new features can be added to the game? What can be added at the last minute without breaking something?
What is the anticipated completion date? When do you want to request the review/demonstration?
Review the Program Requirements - what is missing?

A multiple file application
At least one library
Multiple classes
Inheritance and polymorphism (multiple inheritance is good)
At least one namespace
Some use of exception handling
Overloaded insertion operators
At least 2 STL containers
At least 6 C++11 features (to be documented by the Group Lead)
Group Style Guidelines (to be documented by the Group Lead)

What are the assignments for the group review/demonstration? (this will be 30 minutes) Who does what?
Who is going to write the compilation instructions? This needs to be complete and accurate.

Group Lead Requirement

Must submit an email to Joe with the following:

Names of students who attended the meeting
A brief summary of agenda items discussed
An updated schematic/diagram of the game layout. This is the high-level view - short class descriptions and relations between classes
An approximate completion (ready for review/demonstration) date. Note, this is not a formal request, just a plan.
