The lab exercises are a new part of this course - they have been added to comply with Title 5 of the Education code. My plan for these exercises is to give you practice using the concepts covered in the just-completed lecture. The lab exercise will usually consist on one easy programming problem (it may have multiple parts) with the intent of giving you immediate experience using the just-talked about concepts. These exercises should be easy and you should be able to easily complete them during the lab time. Of course, instructor help will be available if you need it. Completion of the exercise will usually involve turning in some paper copy of your solution. If you complete your lab exercise early, you can use the remaining lab time to work on the next homework assignment.
