There is a Web developer toolbar for Firefox. Web Developer is an Add-on Recommended by Firefox. It is used to develop JavaScript, and for other development tasks.

You may wish to install it at home.

Installation instructions:

  • I got - Version 1.1.3, released on Jan 31, 2007   You may get a more recent version
  • Restart to complete the installation.
  • You may wish to select - View - Toolbars, and unselect the Web Developer Toolbar. You can select the Web Developer Toolbar when you need it for JavaScript, and keep it hidden for most use of Firefox.

There are many things you can do with the toolbar. I know a few of them.
