Lab Assignments

Do not send any files to the instructor. Print the checklist, check if your assignments are in accordance with the grading rubrics before you call the instructor to grade you at your desk.

Lab 1:
1. Create Windows accounts by following the instructions on the handout.
2. Be familiar with the network. Read Readme file in your home directory for the same.
3. Create CIS03 folder in your home directory which is H: drive.
4. Create the following 5 subfolders inside your CIS03 folder.
           Word  
           Excel
           Access
           PowerPoint
           Project      
5. Start Notepad and write about the following:
    Name of the Operating System and the version you are using in lab.
    MS-Word version- <Write version here>
    MS-Excel version- <Write version here>
    MS-Access version- <Write version here>
    MS-PowerPoint version- <Write version here>
5. Save the document as Whatsinhere.txt in your CIS03 folder. 
6. Please send email to teachercis03@yahoo.com with your lastname, firstname and time of class (8:30-9:20 or 9:30-10:20) in the subject line.
NOTE:
1. Don’t save anything on the desktop, otherwise it will be lost when you logout of your accounts.
2. The file organization should be strictly followed. It has points.
