File Metadata
- The most basic file metadata are characteristics such as filename, creation date, and modified date. Depending on the type of file, additional metadata may be included.
- Since metadata is included in the index, it is useful to create additional metadata for files. Windows 7 allows you to create tags that contain additional metadata for organizing your data.
