New Configuration
- In some cases, the default configuration of Windows 7 is sufficient for organizational needs. In many more cases, the organization customizes the default configuration of Windows 7 to match its needs.
- Applications must also be selected as part of the configuration planning. Changing to a new operating system is often a good time to introduce a new office suite. Making multiple changes at the same time reduces the number of times users are impacted by change.
