Permission Scope

A permission scope determines what other objects are impacted by the assigned permission. For files, the scope is limited to this object only, which is the file itself.

The permission scopes for a folder include:

  • This folder only
  • This folder, subfolders, and files
  • This folder and subfolders
  • This folder and files
  • Subfolders and files only
  • Subfolders only
  • Files only
