VHD Boot
- VHD Boot is a new feature in Windows 7 that allows the operating system to be installed to and booted from a virtual hard disk (VHD) file instead of a disk partition.
- VHD may be useful for power users in large enterprises with a virtualized desktop environment.
- VHD boot can also be used to simplify dual booting.
